BCCI confirmed that team India will not be travelling to Pakistan for the upcoming Asia Cup which was supposed to be played in 2023

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has confirmed that the 2023 Asia Cup will be held at a neutral venue. This is because cricket relations have been strained due to political tensions between the two countries.

The last time India visited Pakistan was in 2005-2006 in a bilateral series led by Rahul Dravid. India and Pakistan have not played a bilateral cricket series since his 2012–13 when Pakistan toured India with his three T20Is and an equal number of his ODIs. Since then, the two teams have not played in a bilateral series and have only met in World Events or the Asian Cup.
